I just watched Zeitgeist the movie. Scary stuff: the ability of powerful people or organizations to force farces on societies. You want to shout, “conspiracy theory!” don’t you? Well, yes Zeitgeist may be filled with theories, unproven and resting on shaky ground, but some points are powerful. The Military industrial complex has been a huge part of America society for years. It is nothing new. Gil Scott Heron’s song “The Military and the Monetary” explains the same fear of powerful organizations coming together to earn money in terrible ways –even if that means intentionally fibbing (Think: WMDs in Iraq!).  Then it hit me. For decades the realization of this larger network (even above Government) exists and is, well, corrupt. Nothing seems to go past realization; no action takes place to remove the corruption. Action only comes from the people in charge. So, come on, that really won’t work.
